Little Change Of Plans

The ultrasound I'd had scheduled for Monday got cancelled. Something happened and they aren't going to be getting the machine to demo.

So, instead, I have to do my ultrasound with the hospital. I have it scheduled for Thursday afternoon. It's so close, but I still feel like something's going to happen to prevent this appointment, too...

I am excited, though.

Hubby's working, so he doesn't get to go to this ultrasound. That's fine, he missed one of Ethan's ultrasounds too.

We're going to go for the more expensive {$200 out of pocket}, 3D/4D ultrasound in the city toward the end of the pregnancy anyway.

So, now instead of waiting 5 days, I have only about 46 hours left! I can't wait to finally see my baby!

Aliens In the Belly

A few days ago, I wrote a post on my other blog about how active Izzie was being that afternoon. I commented on how I couldn't wait until she was big enough for Hubby or the kids to feel her moving as well.

I thought it would be a few weeks from now.

Well, Hubby and I were sitting last night, and he informed me that the night before, while I was sleeping, he felt her kicking and flipping around.

It's pretty awesome. =)

She is getting more and more active as the days go by, and I'm getting more and more anxious to meet her.

5 more days until we get to see her!

19 Weeks and Workin' Out

I've made it to 19 weeks. It really doesn't seem like I can be this far, already. I've been so busy with school, writing, the kids, their school, my school, and the new house to really have a chance to sit back and enjoy being pregnant.

It's finally getting to the pleasant part, and it's just flying by...

I still have days where I wake up nauseated and puking, but they are getting fewer and fewer.

Hopefully, next week, I can have some big news! I haven't heard anything yet, but I'm not really expecting to until Monday {if anything prevents our ultrasound from happening}.

I'm up another pound from last week, bringing me to a total of 10.2 pounds down from my pre-pregnancy weight.

I finally got in my two new prenatal workout videos -- Glow - Prenatal Cardio Sculpt with Tonya Larson and Denise Austin: Fit & Firm Pregnancy {both can be found on Amazon.com}.

I love the first one! I haven't done the strength part of it, yet, but the cardio is so much fun!

Tomorrow, I'm going to give the Denise Austin one a try, and the strength part, as well. I love Denise Austin workouts, but it can be tough some days to tolerate Denise Austin. That much energy, enthusiasm, and energy... she's getting paid a lot of money. =P

Exciting News on the Baby Front {Possibly}

I had my appointment today, and everything is going great! Baby is healthy and no worries yet. I am 18 weeks, and the doctor was going to make me wait until my next appointment {Jan. 3} for an ultrasound.

Well, he's now looking into getting a new 3D ultrasound machine for his office, and I get to be one of the first people to "demo" it. There is supposed to be someone bringing it up on the 19th of this month, and I've got an appointment for it!!

I know I shouldn't get my hopes up too much. A lot could happen between now and the 19th. Something could happen and the guy may not be able to make it, or the doctor could have an emergency and have to deliver a baby or something.

But, hopefully, in the next couple weeks, we can finally get to see or baby and get an official gender.

I will be 20 weeks.

I got a flu shot today, and my arm is sore...

Raiden has his follow up in about an hour on his ear infection. I'm feeling pretty good that he's feeling better.

18 Weeks

Today, I am on Week 18 of this pregnancy. Technically, 20 weeks is the halfway point, but at the moment, I'm about to my halfway point. My last pregnancy ended at 36 weeks, and though I'm going to do what I can to keep this little one right where she is until May, I'm not expecting it to be much later...

We go into the Dr. on Tuesday, so until then, there's really not a whole lot to report.

I am still down 11.2 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. I'm hoping to keep my total weight gain between 10 and 15 pounds. I'm sure that will be fairly easy. I gained 20 with Ethan, and that was the most; 11 with Kayde; 13 with Raiden.

My new maternity clothes should be in tomorrow. I'm excited for some new shirts!

I'll have a new belly pic up soon.

17 Weeks

I am almost to the halfway point in my pregnancy.
This one's gone by so fast.

Baby is very active, and now that I've got my own doppler, I've been tracking her heart beat. It's been staying steady between 140-145 so far.

Her kicks are getting stronger now. I can't wait for the kids to be able to feel them.

I go into the doctor next Tuesday, and I'm hoping we'll get to schedule our 20 week ultrasound soon. I'm getting excited and anxious for it.

She's Got Heart

I finally got in my Fetal Doppler from eBay today!

It wasn't a completely horrible experience, but so far, it's been my worst eBay experience yet. According to the thing that tells you when it should be there when you buy something, I should have gotten it this past Tuesday at the latest. It just came from AZ so really, it should have been here Saturday. Well, the seller didn't send it until Tuesday and tried to blame the "delay" on the Holidays. Well, if they'd sent it on time, the holidays shouldn't have affected it at all...

Anyway!!

We got in the Doppler today, and found Baby's heart beat. It was going steady about 145 BPM.

We have to wait for the gender, though. I still have a couple weeks before we go back to the doctor, but I'm getting anxious for our next ultrasound. It better be before Christmas, though! Grandma and Grandpa are coming down, and I want to be able to show them pictures.

Things are going well. I'm just a few days from 17 weeks. The morning sickness is going slowly. There are still about 3 days a week I wake up to puke. My weight is staying steady {I'm hoping not to gain too much since I was very overweight to begin with, the biggest I've ever been pre-pregnancy...}. And the belly is slowly growing.

I've been feeling "her" move the last couple weeks, and "her" kicks are getting stronger.
